Novalok was established in Auckland by the Suckling family in 1986 and has a long history in sheet metal fabrication in stainless steel, mild steel and aluminum. Part of this operation was the manufacture of shelving components for other companies. In 1989 the company bought the Novalok brand and focused in the development of this brand and products.

The Novalok system is manufactured in Wanganui. Novalok has a 2000 square metre plant in Wanganui equipped with a manufacturing capacity capable of building any customised system you require.

Yes, we import some of our standard racking and industrial shelving. We have developed, and own the tooling used to manufacture our brands of product, to our specifications and standards.

For smaller orders we can usually supply ex stock. Depending on size or complexity of order, usually 2-5 days would be normal for our smaller orders.

For larger projects, we may indent specifically and ship direct to client. These larger projects would normally be installed between 60 to 80 days from receipt of order.

Yes, Novalok is a major importer of Speedlock and Teardrop racking styles, branded by us as Novarack and Victor. Both are well regarded shelving brands of our own design. These are manufactured from our own tooling in Asia and imported.

Yes, without hesitation! Novarack, Plastlock, Victor and our other imported brands are manufactured to the strictest international industrial standards. They have been tested by independant recognised test facilities in New Zealand and have proved to be of equal quality. Take a look at seismic codes PDF files in our design build section.

Yes, Novalok engineering and installation teams will survey your site and conduct the required investigations into suitability of your site and planned racking system in view of compliance.

Yes we develop “Producer Statements” for Design PS1, Design review PS2, Construction PS3, and Construction review PS4.

Forms commonly used as a certificate of completion of building work are Schedule 6 of NZS 3910:20031 or Schedules E1/E2 of NZIA’s SCC 2007.

Almost all industrial racking, used in New Zealand and internationally by majors suppliers, is either Speedlock or Teardrop. Novalok supplies both systems branded as Novarack and Victor.

Yes all our imported products are designed and manufactured to strict international seismic and loading standards. You will see on our product pages that each product is classified with its loading weights state.

Yes, we can in most cases. We have systems that can be made to any size required, and we have systems that are only available in a fixed range of sizes please call to discuss with a Sales Rep.

Yes, we have over 20 resellers providing our products throughout New Zealand. We do however keep very close to major projects RFPs and for large scale projects we work directly with users.

Possibly yes, however we require a high standard of end client service comittment and a credit worthiness application to be provided before consideration is given.
