Storage racks and cabinets

The Monoblock upright is the vertical/side front-rear structural element of which a section of modular shelving consists. Each section includes I or 2 Monoblock uprights, depending on whether it is an initial section or an extension section respectively. These Monoblock uprights, or frames, are made of 30 x 30 x 2mm steel square tube which is epoxy Powder-coated in a light mauve colour. The frames are joined with 2 front and 2 rear connectors, which are secured with stainless steel bolts and nuts. The connector lengths are 613 or 415 respectively.

The basket guides are fitted with a retaining mechanism to prevent the baskets being accidently pulled right out of the frames.

Transport trolley system

The same dimensionally as the MMS racking system, the MMS trolley system is designed to take the 600 x 400 standard sized trays and baskets.

The wide range of products that can be built to suit the standard trays and baskets means that many different types of trolley can be made to suit your specific needs.

The standard size open transport trolley is suitable for the preparation of orders from CSSD store and for the transportation of perishable medical material inside the hospital or clinic. The MMS transport trolley is available in 4 standard configurations, depending on the use and capacity required by users.

The trolley structure is made of 40 x 20 mm rectangular tube, epoxy powder-coated in light grey. All 4 corners of the trolley are fitted with ergonomic handles for easy handling and manoeuvrability, and the trolley base is fitted with a perimeter bumper made of black, Non marking, shock absorbing rubber. The Quiet running urethane swivel castors are 125 mm diameter, two are fitted with brakes.

Dividable plastic bin system

The Novalok MMS Plastic bin system is fast becoming the industry standard in European clinical-medical institution, if it is not already the standard. This system has been developed specifically for this market to fill a need for specialised storage capability for modern steri-packed items, specific to the Healthcare profession.

The key feature is that storage ‘units’ can be taken from CSSD to Theatre, basket lot at a time with no need for double handling. There are shelving racks for the storage, and trolleys, that the baskets can be transferred to, for transportation around the Hospital or Clinic. The bins, or baskets, are the core part of this whole Clinical-medical logistics management system.

The basket is available in 2 sizes length and breadth, 600mm x 400mm, and 300mm x 400mm.
There are 3 depths of trays, 15mm, 50mm and 100mm.
There are 2 depths of basket, 100mm and 200mm.
